Herceptin

During my surgery doctors discovered that I was HER2+. I needed to do a year of Herceptin infusions, every three weeks. The good news: No side effects and I got to regularly chat up my favorite chemo nurse at NYU. The drawings went through another phase, too. I started bringing a notebook everywhere I went. And life was returning to normal.
